It was once said that she was the one who
‘whispered’ to Ini Edo that Uche Jombo had a
bet that Ini’s marriage was not going to be a
success, Adaora Ukoh has somehow grown
above this level and has remain undaunted
when people talk about her, now that she is
married several months back, she is not
finding marriage as smooth as a lot of movies
she plays have made once made her believe.
Adaora said “Well, I just noticed that it’s really
not an easy world. When I look at the
Omotolas that have kept theirs, I give them
kudos. It’s really not easy because men come
with a lot of drama and they want to hold it
down for you at that point when they’ve
entered. And sometime it looks like you are
trying to fight it out.”
Sex role is not really her thing when it comes
to movies, “Séx role is not my thing. When you
look at every movie, there is usually a theme.
Like the movie I’m shooting currently, there is
séx scene but the producer decided to shoot it
like a silhouette, where you light the wall. You
will be doing all the séx scenes but it will be
showing on the wall. Not that I don’t do
romance, I do romance in movies but I might
not do outright showing the séx scene that
probably could look vulgar.”

How N*ked Photos To Lover Allegedly Crashed Uche Iwuji’s Marriage…Top Banker Fingered
It is no longer news that the barely one year
old marriage of controversial Nollywood
actress, Uche Iwuji has reportedly crashed.
What many, especially her teeming fans are
oblivious of is the huge role some unclad
pictures of the pretty thespian allegedly play in
the collapse of the once happy union between
Iwuji and her international businessman lover,
Mr. Juwon Lawal.
In fact, unconfirmed information reaching
SHOWBIZPLUS has it that shocked and
disappointed Lawal has abandoned his
matrimonial home and fled abroad to calm his
frayed nerves and possibly get over the
betrayal.
Another unconfirmed report claimed that
Iwuji’s amorous affair with the Managing
Director of one of the foremost family banks in
Nigeria was responsible for the many crises in
their troubled marriage.
Lawal EE learnt reportedly heard that his wife
was having a secret affair with the top banker
and as well discovered some BBM/SMS
messages exchanged between her and her lover
boy senior banker whose financial house just
clocked 30 and still celebrating.
Some of the BBM chats included n*ked
pictures of the actress, which she allegedly
sent to her randy and married lover boy spoilt
brat.
It was further alleged that after the
heartbreaking findings devastated Lawal
abandoned his ‘darling’ wife and their new
born baby for the States.
A close source who doesn’t want her name
mentioned, confirmed the marriage crash,
claiming Iwuji had always been unlucky with
love.
“Not just that, Uche is also back to hustling;
looking for movie roles and all that…See, Uche
na good girl, but love has been bad and unfair
to her. Remember there was a guy she first co-
habited with in Spain and at the end of the day
nothing came out of it. And before that, she
also dated footballer Joseph Yobo who later
dumped her for ex-beauty queen, Adaeze Igwe.
Then, Juwon, whom she met in London. The
truth is that I really feel for her.”
However, in a recent chat with Yes
International Magazine, the pretty actress
debunked the rumour of her marriage crash,
insisting that her young family was still intact
and waxing stronger.
Genevieve Nnaji & Omotola Jalade Still In Supremacy Battle?
The battle of supremacy between top actresses
Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde
alongside each other in the award winning
movie, Ije, a development that made people to
conclude that both parties have let the
sleeping dog lie. It was believed that the two
movie stars have become friends when the
National President of Actors’ Guild of Nigeria
(AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima stepped into all the
grievances between top actresses shortly after
her inauguration.
However, investigations showing that the
beautiful Nollywood actresses are still not
friends. Recall that Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was
named Most Influential Nigerian by Time
Magazine early this year. As it could be, Actors’
Guild of Nigeria (AGN), the guild where the
actress has remained loyal to for many years
decided to celebrate and honor her.
Guess what? Genevieve Nnaji was not only
absent from the event but also close friends
disclosed that she was angry for the accolades
showered on Omotola. Sources say the Imo
born screen diva is still angry with the
organisers of the event till today.
Again, the talented actress, Ms. Genevieve was
among the lucky Nollywood practitioners who
were honored on Wednesday November 27,
2013 at Grand Awards of Nollywood @20, a
situation that has been questioned by many
people from Omotola’s camp. According to
them, Genevieve is not supposed to be
honored for her contributions in movie
industry without Omotola’s name appearing on
the same list. “Omotola’s name was omitted.”
They say.
Simply because Omotola’s name was not in the
list and she was nowhere near the venue of
this grand event, as an invitation must have
been sent to her weeks before yesterday. Yours
truly is noticing that a strong supremacy battle
is still brewing between the two actresses. This
is because; there are strong speculations that
Omotola’s name was intentionally omitted
from the event to bring Genevieve Nnaji back.
“The two ladies are putting guild heads into
serious problems, because if you are honoring
one of them, the other will want same or there
will be issues. Most times, you cannot carry
two of them along at the same time. Omotola
was named Times Magazine’s Most Influential
Nigerian not Genevieve and AGN did the right
thing by honoring her. So, was the idea anyway
close to telling the AGN head not to honor
such positive development? They should help
others to help themselves,” a source who
begged anonymity stated.
Please, let us beg them to come down from
their high horses and do the right thing.
Others who were honored at last night award
include: Larry Williams, Zeb Ejiro, Adebayo
Salami, Sadik Balewa, Idowu Phillips, Eddie
Ugbomma, Tunji Bamishigbin, RMD, Tunde
Kelani, Ken Nnebue, Fidelis Duker, Bukky Ajayi,
Abbey Lanre, Jide Kosoko, Andy Amenechi, Sani
Muazu, Emem Isong, Mike Nliam, Pete Edochie,
Taiwo Hassan, Fred Amata, Yinka Quadri, Umar
Faruk, Lanre Hanssan, Kareem Adepoju, Tunde
Alabi Hundeyin and many others.
